Delphine Boël: Bla bla du jour
About the plate
No explanation needed, ‘Bla bla bla du jour’ says it all!
About the artist
- Birthplace: Ukkel (Belgium), 22th February 1968
- Residence: Ukkel
In her brightly coloured sculptures in papier-mâché with crownes, thrones and the Belgian flag, she used to refer to her royal origin as extramarital child of King Albert II. This period is behind her and now she addresses social issues. Recently, she presented collages with images of an anti-paedophile demonstration. The plate by Boël is a silent protest, again showing a different angle of this artist.
